Locomotive #12

I am curious about this locomotive which I photographed in Chama in 1978. I don't seem to be able to find any references to it in current or historical rosters.

Lee I just did a quick Google search and came up with this.

"In the early 1970’s, #12 was moved to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and spent several years stored, in pieces, in the Chama, New Mexico yards.

On this site -- hope it helps you. http://www.mcrr.org/PAGES/twelve.html

Thanks, that seems to completely resolve the issue. I had been searching for D&RGW or RGS never expected it to be from the island.
