DAY TWO - WORK SESSION 'F'

Unread postby Ted Smith » Tue Aug 14, 2012 6:28 pm

The 59 hard-working volunteers of Work Session 'F' are making some great progress in all activities! We have two postings tonight which are required to cover a wide range of work here in Chama and to show you the remarkable progress of the Cumbres picnic shelter. Friends' volunteer Richard Tower has been working very hard with the contractors and the Commission to make sure it is up and ready for the Saturday evening Fiesta Train, and it looks very much as if it will meet this critical deadline.
Team Leader Don Stewart is also thanking the forces of nature for keeping the rain away as he and his paint crew forge ahead!

Here is the first photo posting....

Linda and Caroline have been responsible for getting THOUSANDS of dollars of grants to pay for many projects that help in railroad preservation. It is because of their efforts that many of the projects that the Friends do each summer are funded. Great job!
