Remembering those that have made the final station call.

Jean Murray

My thoughts and prayers are with Rich Murray and his family. His wife of 35 years, Jean, passed away a few weeks ago.

Rich has been a long-time member of the Friends and was the Editor of the Dispatch for many years before handing it off to our current Editor, Chris James. Rich was also instrumental in the design of this forum.

Rich and I have been friends for 10 years or so. We got to meet (in person) in 2013 when #463 was debuted on a Friends charter after a multi-year rebuild. It was a real treat to meet both Rich and Jean. They're good people... and I'm honored to call them friends.

I'm am truly sorry for your loss, Rich. I only knew her briefly, but there was no doubt that Jean was a great woman, wife, and mother... a true gift from God.
