The Phantom Locomotive

Unread postby Quentin Lockwood » Wed Aug 09, 2023 5:36 am

Yesterday was busy in front of the east shop door as the Phantom Locomotive which had been sitting in the weeds off to the side was moved to active track. When yard track maintenance was done some years ago, the switch to where the locomotive sat, was removed and it has been sitting there for years. Yesterday morning a lot of effort reconnected the track and the locomotive is now accessible.. I can't see the number. Here's hoping another locomotive will be brought back to life.

Anybody get any picture grabs of them moving 492 over? I remember watching them move 483 which used to sit behind 492.
