I do not personally know who maintains this equipment but as a retired electrical engineer, I cannot thank him enough. Like most I don't get to heaven as often as I would like and since my wife had thrown the gauntlet and demanded doing something next year that does not involve ANY train and I am 84, JUly 1 through 9 may be my last. I volunteer as a docent and by the time I could go again, I might be more of a liability than an assett. I understand that comment about familian responsibities and on July 5, when I have asked to work a C-O-A, my #3 great- grandson will be on the train. He is almost 7 and it is time to inject the railroad bug, which we should all know is a TERMINAL BUG. Mine was injected by my uncle, a locomotive engineer on the L&N when I was 2 and if anything the illnesss has gotten stronger with time. So again, Thanks. :proceed:
