488 comes out to take the first passenger train to Antonito for this year with a decent crowd of rail fans watching.

Note: I did not get a shot from the water tank as there was so much hidden in the shadows that it would have been a rubbish shot. Even the spout wasn't very visible.

488 has her tender filled as the rail fans continue to watch and take photos.

Departure of the first Train 216 of the season: 488 and 8 coaches. Man those coaches do look smart! And although you can't see, coach Lobato was still unlettered along the edge of the roof. Also just noticed that 489's tender has been moved from its winter resting place.

All being well, we should see 463 on today's 215 and for once (for Opening Day) it may be on time as I don't believe anything is scheduled to happen at the pass.
