484 is out and about and is currently over the pit. It appears to have received the plow that was last on 488. So we may see it out fairly frequently over the winter, especially with the diesel still down in Antonito. The plow was a bit unexpected, at first I got excited and thought it was 87!

Just a guess, but if they are running the hospital trains this winter, then 463 will come down from Antonito (I think that's the only engine apart from 168 and 315 there) and 484 will head east with one of the coach sets.
484 went into the yard without stopping for water and retrieved one of the flat roofed coaches. It is now taking on coal with the coach attached, most unusual.
After getting coal, 484 took the coach down to the east yard and set it down to the front of the Colorado set.
Just a guy who loves steam.
