10.28.21 Quiet yard in Chama

Looking in this morning, I do not see any smoke anywhere in the yard. Wonder if 487 is now cold also. It sure did not have very much coal in its tender yesterday when it was being used.

I saw smoke coming from the west stall late last afternoon, so they may have been dropping the fire, you could be right Sharon. If that's the end of steam for this year, then that's a shame. Still have no idea about what is happening with the Christmas trains.

A hospital train could come over from Antonito then go back therefore not needing one of the locomotives in Chama.

That is a possibility, let's hope it happens. Well I have been informed by Jonathan Cordova that for a second year running there will be no Christmas trains. My hopes for a hospital train are even higher now!
