8/20/2021 Let's take a trip to Cumbres

487 is taking the Cumbres turn out today, on what I believe is her first Friday run of the season, as 484 has handled every one before. Speaking of 484,she appears to be cold outside the house.

Due to the lighting at this time of day, the only way you can tell that 487 is at the tank is the wiff of steam from the safety valves.

Just noticed in the latest view today, that there is a ladder going up to the sand tower? Is somebody looking to fix the sound system of the web cams? When I talked to Jason Rose last, he said it could be fixed, but looking for a volunteer o/w he'd have to make the trip in from his home in Texas.

I was wondering the same thing as I was watching the departure. It sure would be nice if that was true.

The arrival of the Cumbres turn behind 487 with the Colorado set. Its been a nice day today weather wise with many passengers still enjoying the open gon.
