Good Morning!

The video shows the North, South, and Depot camera views as they go from the late black and white of night to a colorful early morning. Frost and a few snowflakes are scattered around. The video plays well full screen.

Full grown and ready for winter, a plump deer is seen standing on the coal and sand track East of sand bunker. Not enough light available to determine whether it is a doe or buck. Your choice?

Ed's final good-by.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you that Friends Board Member Ed Lowrance passed away on Saturday November 4 at his home in Pagosa Springs with his wife Valley by his side. Ed had been project committee chair since 2006 and co-chaired with John Engs over the past several years. There will be no memorial services per Ed's wishes. Please keep Valley in your thoughts and prayers. Ed will be missed.---Tim Tennant

Thus far, activity at the C&TSR Chama yard has been mostly inside the depot office and engine house. With a bit of time to spare, looked into a box of old videos from past sessions and found these jewels from the May 28, 2016 Season Opening Day.
