10/31/17 Early start to this day

It is just after 6:30 am MDT in Chama and 15 is already going and I see people walking around the 487, so maybe it will be getting hot today.

After Mikes shot below after the cams went to colour. Current temperature in Chama, according to the app on the cam website, is 33 degrees.

Snow....a Halloween Trick or treat????

whaa hoppened! Chama turned white. Sharon, I am using your close neighbor to the north, the Ashland VA Cams to wean me off of the Chama activity. It ain't as good but it ain't bad. Street running and lots of frieght, and many Amtraks a day. It is always fun to watch road traffic interact with trains.
Thanks for the pix you posted Larry, I didn't get to see you in Chama last summer.

For today, so far all I have seen on the south tipple cam is 15 going into the east stall and staying for some time. When it came out it eventually moved 463's locomotive body over to the east lead then pulled 487 forward a few feet and is now sitting, no sign of smoke yet.

15 has been sitting and idling for some time now, will wait to see if anything else happens.
All said and done, the 15 shoved the 487 back and brought the 463 locomotive body back to the west lead and parked it in front of the 487 again. Once that was done the 15 went over to the east lead and parked.
