9/23/17 Saturday and speeders again as well as double headed

Morning preparations and speeders departure:

In front of the wood shop 2 cars were placed last night for this coming week's work session/The speeders are starting their engines

The 488 comes out to begin the day for the RR as the speeders continue to get ready

The 488 comes over the pit for its morning cleaning as the speeder owners gather for the safety briefing

The 489 has now come to the pit while the 488 is at the tank and speeder safety briefing over

The 489 is still at the pit as the speeders are now headed out of Chama and 488 is taking on water

Preparations continued and departure of train 216: 488 as road locomotive, 489 as helper and 10 cars

Now for the mystery of the morning. About 30 minutes after 216 was gone, 463 took water and left town and returned about 45 minutes later. Did they have to give 216 a push somewhere on the hill??????

Arrival of train 215: 487 and 10 cars Train arrived Chama just after 1730 MDT. Guess it was 2 ten car trains and weather which delayed them.
