315 is readies for departure as train 216 clears the yard

Wonder if now the 315 will remain in Antonito for the rest of the season and over winter?

170+ on 316 this morning. Brakes locked on us 4 times to Osier yesterday. We turned the train over to the Antonito crew. When we were pulling into the Chama yard they had 5 more and were only @ Sublette. The bus from Antonito was onto Chama after 7pm.
I got this picture in the round house last night. You can see the regular paint through the decals so I hope they are rain proof.
I was born in Ancho NM Rick, not Anchor. Darn autocorrect. Still on Google maps, and listed as a ghost town.

Sharon, you were remembering correctly..........487 had several E-Stops a short time back.
Our first experience on C&TSRR was in June 2016......the second TRAINS MAG trip [Charma to Antonito].....we were behind 487 and at least 8 brake trips by the time we got to Osier
As i remember, after nothing else would help, the crew took the train brakes out and used engine braking only for the rest of the trip.....made for a bumpier ride but no one seemed to mind.

Explanation on Sharon's capture: All members of the DRHS were invited to participate in this move today providing they could arrange for transport to return to Chama.

315 Extra Returns To Chama Depot at 4:54 PM, MST., after 488 moved the cars in the Train 215 consist to the east line.
Unless my eyes have once again deceived me, it appears that the early morning riders of 315 Extra found a ride back to Chama.
