Eclipse over Tanglefoot Curve. I took several shots of the sun peeking through the heavy clouds. Finally I came up with this one. I had to share it a couple of dozen times. Every one else was getting blobs of light. Sharing with Friends is what we are all about.

Lots of fans photographing the 487 with 484 tender anomaly.
Gotta go.. Gotta train to ride. If I miss it I will be crying all day!!!!!!! :toys:

Great picture Frank. We tried to take selfies over our shoulders but Sun was still too bright, even at 97-98% with cloud cover.

C&TSRR Train 215 arrives on schedule at the Chama Depot. The passengers disembark and the yard crew hostlers take control of the train from the engineer.
The train is taken to the Wye to be turned around so that it is headed toward Cumbres pass in the morning. The train returns, the locomotive is decoupled and then heads to the ash pit to dump its embers.
