8/15/17 Three trains today but no cam as of now

I noticed after all trains were in yesterday, errors showing on the cam feed and it is still off this morning. I have another medical appointment this morning at 8:30 am EDT so if they are not up by the time I leave we will not get the departure of the student train to Antonito or 216.

As of 0730 EDT still no cams activity so will not be able to do postings this morning since I will not be here if they do come back up. Hopefully we will get 215 this afternoon.

I'm looking into the outage.

The power is on and the internet connection is good.

I don't know when the cams came back on, but the Student Train was much the same as yesterday. Engine 487, 2 cattle cars, RGS with Sharon's new potbellied stove, 208, 2 box cars, dropside gondola, 4 gondolas, Box car & caboose. I was delighted to see 3 cams working when I got back.
Gotta go, gotta train to catch. :toys:

If no one else got this morning then I will get 215 this afternoon. Wonder if the outage was related to correcting the band width issues?

From what I saw right at 10am MDT, all 3 cameras were on :smiley16: and train 216 was pulling out behind 489 with a standard 7 car consist.

There will be a complete beginning and end to Sharon's records of the days activities. My wife is pleased. She loves watching the people come and go. Time to renew membership.

The depot cam is easy to add to the days activities as long as one is home to do it live, so on days that I happen to be out and am recording, well no depot cam.

San Juan Extension, Train #215 is pulled into the Chama Depot as the Web Cam viewers have a front row seat. Locomotive 488 then takes the train down to the WYE for a turnaround.

I realize that this is a repeat of Sharon's above post. Was curious to see the difference in color rendering and resolution. Used three cameras on one monitor. Activated and then deactivated each camera as the train pulled into and out of the shot. The resulting videos were then joined and posted to YouTube. You will notice that I used a "free"version of Bandicam in this experiment. Normally use the paid version but it is not set up with three instances on the primary computer. Bandicam has a snapshot feature that can be used while viewing the window being captured. Cliqz is my browser of choice for screen captures. Sharon has conquered bypassing the normally mandatory renew arrow in her captures. Hope you find this information helpful and try uploading some of your own videos. Thanks.
