8/14/17 - A very busy day in Chama

We will have 6 different movements in Chama today, the 2 regular trains and 4 of the student trains this is 2 round trips to Cumbres.
Morning preparations: student and regular train

I have a dental appointment at 9am EDT and then my normal morning activities so I will not get to posting any of this until I get home early afternoon. I am going to set up 3 total hold topics to have room for the morning activities.

Lots of excitement till Student departure @ 8am. It will be a busy day out on the line. I know all of you would rather be here so I won't rub it in. Great to see #215 arrive at the north entrance. But, might be just as good that caught 3 camera wavers: fellow in bright red shirt waving about 4 minutes prior to arrival of #215. looked like a gal waving at the camera from the north end of the wood shop dock. And, the mystery waver stowed away on the train widly calling attention to himself.

We will see Frank better in the video, since a still capture is a "crap shoot" at best. The other 2 did not make it other than the last 3 images you can see them on the dock of the wood shop.
