We can see that after 215 got turning last evening the 2 cars painted RGS orange/red have been moved to south yard.

Morning preparations continued and departure of train 216

Train 216 gets out of Chama almost to the second this morning with 487 acting as helper to Cumbres and 463 road locomotive on its way to Antonito.

Watching the video, seems that chronic problem that 487 has with the engineer's side rear cylinder cock is still there.

It not that usual for them to pull the entire train forward to the road to remove the helper unless there are people getting off like Cinder Bear day, which this isn't.

Tomorrow begins the August Engineer/Fireman's school with the extra trains. Looks like 487 came back and is doing some switching in south yard. Would not surprise me to see the RGS painted cars head east on Tuesday when the students go through to Antonito.

It is good to have your return to the Web Cameras. You have really mastered the purpose of the forum, both in your graphics and narratives. The mixing of stills and video is superb. The message brought by one reinforces the message of the other. Keeping alive the legend of the mystery waver will be remembered for decades. The production is both entertaining and instructional.
