It is just after 5 am in Chama and dawn is starting to break over the town and yard as a new day begins. This will be my last posting of the activities until I return from my trip to Chama for work session E. Should pick the activities up again on 8/6/17 3 weeks from today.

We will miss U Sharon. But I'm glad U are going to heaven on earth, Chama. I won't be back there till Aug 20th. But then I'll live my bucket list for a full month.

Sharon, you picked a wonderful time to be in the high country of Chama, cool nights and warm days. We've enjoyed having coffee with you these many mornings and will save your seat here at the monitor. Give us a wave on the cameras whenever you can and I promise we will wave back. You just might start a tradition among Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec. Stay Safe and Rock On, Rick and Berlinda

Thanks Rick, as I walk about the yard doing my chronicling look for the big straw had with a lady underneath. I will be riding the Sunset Diner train on 7/22 so will wave from the parlor platform and again on 216 on 7/30.

Frank (The Waver) will be watching for you to wave from my favorite perch, the vestibule of the Parlor Car.Thank U for covering all of my Waves in June. I am always surprised how few riders, or even friends, know our cams are even there. Of the over 200 Cams on Railserve, ours offers the best coverage. Even with my favorite Depot cam down. The Tipple Cams record our wonderful equipment, but the Depot cams records our wonderful personal.
