As I noted yesterday, we will see all 4 of the K36's hot and in front of the house since 463 is the locomotive in Antonito. There is a good chance that 488 will do a break in run later once the "to do" list from yesterday is completed.

I just reviewed all the video from today, and 488 seems to now be in the west stall getting worked on.

The 488 is now out and has moved from the house to close to the depot. One comment I will make as I watch this locomotives, man is it quiet as it runs. That valve gear is not making any noise.

Sharon,

Valve gear makes very little noise compared to wore out bearings on the rods. There banging and clanking will overshadow gear noise.
