Well, the early movements of 463 caught me totally off guard. By the time I got to the computer it was backing away from the coal dock.

He then headed out of Chama light engine, so don't know if they are doing some testing on repairs made while it was inside the house or what. As it left town it was followed by a low cloud of its own making so could see nothing. Just blew for 1st crossing so going some distance.

I believe that #463 is needed back in Antonito to lead the Geology Train tomorrow. But what's even more curious ... is that #315 parked down by the depot near the Friends interpretative car?

Yes it is the 315. They moved it yesterday for display until they need it for the fall charters.

Yes Ed, that is 315. Larry posted a video of the move in yesterday's thread. So 463 is going light engine over to Antonito.

487 has gone to south yard, looks like an extra coach is going east. Don't know if passenger load requires it or its for the geology train tomorrow. Not a coach but the flat car which came west on the student train.

Here's the 463 departure video from this morning, I had a gut feeling they would leave today knowing they were needed in Antonito, but wasn't sure if they would go light - or part of a double-header. We got our answer!!
