Morning preparations to include the school train: According to the C&TS website, today the plan is to take a freight up to Cumbres and then back to Chama. Tomorrow they go through to Antonito and return on Wednesday.

215 arrival followed about 30 minutes later by the school train. Some of the extra whistles are 215 arriving back at the depot after turning the wye.

Doesn't it follow 215 back to Chama?

The second school run goes up to the pass and waits for 215 before coming back. Usually it arrives at the pass ahead of 215 and has time to turn at the snowshed before 215 shows up. Sometimes if the timing with 215 is close it will wait on one of the sidings until 215 clears before making its turn.
