For the first time since last season we have 4 locomotives in front of the house and 2 are currently hot. 463 will probably head back to Antonito today with cars needed there for opening day.

Looking at the locomotive on the front of the east side, I think that may be 489, so its 487 getting steam up.

Looks like we have 3 locomotives hot with the other one shortly today.

So with 463's tender freshly painted black, what are they going to put on it? Would think a little early for the RGS lettering, so old style DRW or speed lettering like on the K36's.

just a guess but 315 is suppose to be in Flying Rio Grande for the opener so would think 463 would match.

Well, I see 463 kept her 30's version paint. 315 looked good in the Flying Rio Grande.
