The leaves are noticeably changing in Chama and, sadly, we only have 4 more weeks to go of this season. Right now there is an 8th coach staged for todays 216 and 489 may be the power.

Morning preparations for today's 216:

Sure is pretty there.

It'll be fall here in Houston in about 2 months. Supposed to be in the 90's today.

I miss Chama... where they actually have seasons... :smiley16:

They hide it somewhere for the movie, my guess in the roundhouse.

Looks like they are picking up the high lift machine - interesting, considering the repainting is not done.

Wonder if the movie company is paying C&TS to do it. That man lift was probably rented by movie people so they returned it. If railroad does the work they can get it the way they want.

Looks like our chances of seeing 215 at the summit are slim again today.

It's a good think they're on rails. They might get lost otherwise. :smiley16:

I'll have to look at the video, but that looks like the stock cars that were in the South yard. I'll have the moves as part of today's video.

Today's videos -

Train 216 departs, today with an 8 car consist.

215 arrives in the first snow of the season, very wet didn't stick to the ground, but signs of winter ahead for sure.

484 did a little switching in the South yard, then brought a set of cars to the North yard. The tank car was put by the oil racks, and the stock cars next to the main. The caboose was brought back and put in the South yard.

After that move, 484 picked up the trainset from 215 and they added a caboose to the rear for tomorrow.
