The yard is calm and quiet this morning, 3 locomotives simmer in front of the shop. Things will start jumping as the day goes on. Expectations for 315 to be off-loaded this morning, and we should get Goose #5 in today as well. Will follow all, and our roving reporter Mr. Larry Gibson will be getting us some images as the day goes forward.

I'm grateful that we have Larry G's "boots on the ground". :smiley16:

He's done an amazing job so far in sharing images we'll never see from a webcam. Wish I could be down there this weekend to see the happenings for myself, but I shall be banished to N. Dakota for a wedding for two souls I've never even met before. Thank you, Mr. Gibson! :cheers:

Just as a note - #15 is being readied and will be used to get #315 from the wye, so if you see them moving that locomotive that is what's happening.

And 15 is indeed running now.

Update on Goose 5 === Well no update, nobody is sure where it is. Will post something if we find out anything.

Videos for today -- quite a busy day.

Train 216 departure.

315 and her tender were brought up separately after unloading down near the wye. Note the deer beginning about 3:12 into the video. Running beside the tender, turns toward the parking lot then last minute makes a mad dash across the track. Guess he never learned stop, look and listen! :lol:

Nobody really knew that #5 had made it, but then comes up from the wye.

Goose #5 heads out for a check run.

Train 215 arrival. Looks like some hail had built up in the gondola, reports of hail from the Goose as they went out.

Goose 5 returns from the check run.

There was also quite a bit of switching done in the South yard after 215 arrived. When I get time I'll get to that video as well (I know I said that yesterday, it will be done --- someday! :roll:
