484 first at the ash pit this morning, now another locomotive is pulled in behind. I think 487 but we'll know shortly.

487 pulls up the ash pit as 484 heads for the water tank. Will we have a double-header today, or is this just the normal daily servicing for 487? We will soon know.

484 heads for coal as 487 continues to the switches at the North end of the yard -- looking good for double-header today. Perhaps another large group of the Cinder Bear riders.

487 now coaling, 484 looks like she's going to the South yard for one - or more - additional coaches. Weeding continues along for the gardening team.

216 heads on up the hill after a short pause while they looked at something in the right front area of 484. All seemed well as the stop was only a few minutes before restarting again.

Here's today's video ---

Train 216 departs today again as a double-header. Could be the Cinder Bear crowd was again large enough to call for the extra coaches. Tomorrow and Sunday will be the last Cinder Bear trains of the season, as we get to back to school time, so less and less kids will be seen on the trains during the week.

On the way out, they stopped just short of the water tank. Looks like the fireman from 484 got out and was looking at something on the right front side of the loco. All seemed well a few minutes later as they once again headed out of the yard.

Train 215 returns, just beating some of the late day rain showers that came in after arrival.
