The 463 has been switched to the other road and a tender (484?) has appeared in front of the roundhouse.

Jonathan Cordova has just corrected me about the tender - "Its either 488 or 489 because 484 has it tender hooked up" - thanks Jonathan.

484 is all hooked up on the South side - this tender must be 488's or 489's tender, and I would guess it's 489.

Video is processing and will be up soon - a couple stills of 463 in nice shiny paint -- though later when at the ash pit I noted the area up near the bell, has some white spots. Not sure if the black is coming off and it's primer, or something else - but it's noticeable.

Funny story about the quick post -- I had to go into my job around 5pm local here, I'm doing some staff photos for them. Got back here maybe 5:45 looked at the cams and saw nothing, figured maybe no train today but left the recording running. Went in and settled down to watch a bit of TV and relax before heading in for my overnight shift tonight. Cat jumped in my lap and settled in, then I hear a train whistle from the other room -- scared the cat and dog with how fast I ran into the computer! Naaaawww not addicted to these cams at all!!!!!!

Looks like some snow remains on 487's plow after cutting off and heading for service.

487 now at ash pit. Perhaps tomorrow we'll see 463 head out to Antonito.

To finish the day, 487 heads for the shop. Some nice smoke with the cool rainy weather, and some nice whistle toots! All seems right in the world again with some passenger coaches parked on the main!

Little bit of snow up at Cumbres now.

Bob Reib, Leon Beier and I drove through that at 4:00 :-). It was almost whiteout. We were on the way back from unloading a truck in Antonito.
