484 brings the 215 in at 4:04 under greying skies. A few ride the train into the yard in the open gon.

Videos coming soon - but looks like we are set for a double header tomorrow with 8 cars plus the two caboose - though they are now going back to the South yard so still switching.

Three more coaches added to the main, so I believe the count is 11+2 caboose. Saturday doubleheader for the penultimate 216 departure of the 2015 season.

Hopefully, all of those cars will be filled with paying passengers. It's also possible that they're ferrying some cars back to Antonito for the winter maintenance work.

Nope the final count of staged cars for 216 is 14, 7 coaches, snack car, open gon, tourist, parlor, caboose, open gon and another caboose. I have attached a grab that shows 484 down by the depot and a deer up near the OM.

Thanks Sharon! I did not see the 2nd open gon stuck in there - good eyes!!!!!

Here's today's videos -- Unfortunately my antivirus program loves to tell me I need a restart by putting a nice big popup in the middle of my window, so it got in the way of 216 recording today. I'll put up the North cam view, it's not so bad, but the South cam is pretty well blocked after the train starts moving. I'll put it here if anyone really wants to see it.

And here are 3 with the switching as discussed above. Note at one point there is some music on the video, this was coming from the tipple cam mic - guessing someone was near the tipple with music playing. How dare they interfere with my recordings!!

Reviewing the morning video, I came across this. Not a deer, does not look like a dog, I'm thinking fox with the white tip on the tail.

Very cool. Sure looks like a fox to me . Michele agrees.

Definitely a keeper for the "Unusual File."
