Goose #5 will make it's final appearance arriving today, will make it's first passenger run tomorrow (though based on passed experience they may do a qualification run late this afternoon). Here's a little promo video I put together for the Friends Twitter account.

South yard looks real empty with all the freight cars out on the specials. Love the Goose, it was a great ride when I did it on 7/4/12.

There are already a number if vehicles parked at Cumbres. Did one of the freights overnight up there?

Well after switching an extra coach onto the train last evening, they just took it off. Also is that 463 in front of the left stall, the locomotive is hot.

Just grabbed this from the Antonito cam. Is that 2 smoke plumes over in front of their small engine house? The next update had this nice smoke plume.

216 gets moving a few minutes late due to late arriving passengers.

It is indeed 463, bucket loader pulled her out at about 8:50 this morning.

Here's a couple colorful stills from the video review today - really starting to see some nice color around sunset times.

09-29-15 Train 215 Arrival - apologies for the depot cam sound on the S Cam, I was doing this from a computer with no speakers and didn't realize it was on. Same with the next video of the Goose departure.

09-29-15 After 215 arrived, Goose #5 heads out via the ash pit, for what I expect is it's evening qualification run.

09-29-15 Goose #5 returned to the yard, turned at the wye, then bedded down for the night near the depot.
