A few minutes later the "fire patrol" takes care of things as the assembled 216 awaits.

Meanwhile as 216 sits in the depot it's time for a photo and the parlor car platform. Let the fun & "snapping of pictures" begin on this trip!!

I have a good time watching people take photographs of their parties at the parlor railing. You would be amazed, probably NOT, at the number who stand in the shade on the depot side of the train to shoot their pictures with the good, sunny side right there for them to use.

Well the fire control speeder just came back and headed to the wye. Looks like they are not following 215 every day. This was 1310 MDT.

I've noticed this on many days so far this season. Yesterday when he came back he parked the speeder at the ash pit, went and got the bucket loader and cleaned out the pit. Guess it's multi tasking for all these days. Only a couple times I've seen the speeder back after the afternoon 215 arrival.

I just joined the Friends today, and checking the videos I find myself in the middle of this shot, Jeans and a green shirt, recording the 488 leaving.
