I’ve heard that the Friends may implement more rigorous personal safety equipment requirements related to helmets, eye/face protection and other gear for yard and ROW work during the 2019 work sessions. If true, what is in the works or being considered? I’m particularly interested in things that individual volunteers might have to furnish, as opposed to what the Friends would provide (though that's also of interest). It’s already getting to be time for team leaders and other folks to talk to potential new recruits about volunteering for next summer’s work sessions and I’d like to be able to share accurate information about what’d be required of them. Cost is already a consideration for many people.
