Two Day ElkHunt - Day #1

Unread postby Roger Hogan » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:17 am

I had to go to North Central Colorado on a business trip so I decided to take 2 days and go hunt elk. Steady 35 to 40 mph wind with gust between 50 & 60 mph. What this means to a Elk hunter is they will change their patterns and stay in canyons or on the side of ridges out of the wind.

3. I always feel I am short on photos of a mature bull laying down, so I always put a extra effort in getting a shot of a bull laying down.
