Something Different...

There is more to the Chama and Antonito area than the railroad. In this forum we will feature photos and articles about other things to see and do.

Something Different...

[Warning: No Trains in This Video]

I spent a week with my family near Crested Butte last month. There were no trains to video, so I got creative (and desperate). Here's a 14 minute video of Cement Creek.

The only railroad-related connection is that Cement Creek flows into the East River a few hundred yards east of the Crested Butte Branch ROW. Water from this creek once filled the tenders of Rio Grande locomotives.

Despite the lack of railroad content, I find this video relaxing and peaceful. Be sure to use the restroom prior to viewing.

u need to get ur wife to skinny dip for these to add a little action! never mind that she would turn pink from the cold if not from embarrassment! slept next to a creek a couple of times while camping. It is a nice sound to fall asleep to.

:stop:

There's absolutely zero chance of that happening.
