19th Century Victorian Steam Locomotive Round Up schedule

Here is the schedule publicly posted and shared by C&T honchos in various places. I'm sharing the schedule here in the interest of filling in folks who haven't seen it elsewhere so they can make arrangements as they see fit. I personally am glad that I plan to be volunteering in Chama during the F2 work session and hopefully will be glad to see at least a small limited part of these movements.

Here is the schedule for the Victorian Iron Horse Roundup.

19th Century Victorian Steam Locomotive Round Up

All trains will include lunch and limited concessions, and cash bar

Sat August 22: Big Horn Turn 168, 425, Historic Consist, Price $225.00, capacity 60 people, Departs Antonito 10:10 AM, Return to Antonito approx. 2:30 PM
Depart Antonito aboard C&TS’s authentic historic passenger car fleet pulled by D&RG locomotives 168 and 425 for a trip to Big Horn and return! Lunch is provided and the excursion will include at least one photo stop and runby action in unchanged western scenery. All equipment used in this train is indigenous to the railroad and dates to the 1870s -1890s.

Sun August 23: Big Horn Turn Eureka, Glenbrook, Historic Consist, Price $225.00, capacity 60 people, Departs Antonito 10:10 AM, Return to Antonito approx. 3:00 PM
Depart Antonito aboard C&TS’s authentic historic passenger car fleet for a trip to Big Horn and return! Lunch is provided and the excursion will include at least one photo stop and runby action in unchanged western scenery. This trip features two 1875 built locomotives from Nevada, lovingly restored to their original appearance. Take part in history as Glenbrook runs for the first time in Colorado and New Mexico!

Monday August 24: Steam Fest in Antonito
Get to see your favorite 19th century iron horses up close and personal in Antonito Colorado! All four engines will be present and under steam for demonstration, whistle blows, and also to provide steam to C&TS’s original Pile driver and steam derrick, lovingly restored to operation by the Friends of the C&TS. Do not miss this opportunity to see these locomotives and equipment up close and personal!

Tuesday August 25: Osier Turn 168, 425, Historic Consist, Price $300.00, capacity 60 people, Departs Antonito 9:00 AM, Return to Antonito approx. 5:00 PM
Ride to Osier and return aboard a historic recreation of the San Juan and New Mexico Express with all original equipment! Our famous lunch at Osier is included, as well as runbys and photo opportunities.

Wednesday August 26: Big Horn Turn Eureka, Glenbrook, Mixed Train, Price $375.00, capacity 45 people, Departs Antonito 10:10 AM, Return to Antonito approx. 8:00 PM
For the serious railroad photographer, this charter features the visiting 1875 locomotives on a mixed freight in a habitat similar to their home state of Nevada. Designed for the photographer in mind, numerous photo runbys and still photography opportunities will be designed for optimal lighting and experience. Lunch is provided. Sun sets at 7:40 PM

Thursday August 27: Osier Turn Eureka, Glenbrook, Historic Consist, Price $300.00, capacity 60 people, Departs Antonito 9:00 AM, Returns to Antonito 7:00 PM
Ride to Osier and return behind guest locomotives Eureka and Glenbrook through the famous Los Pinos Canyon! For the first time since the 19th century, a double header of these early engines will grace Phantom Curve, Rock Tunnel, Toltec Gorge, etc. Do not miss being part of history. Our famous lunch at Osier is included, as well as runbys and photo opportunities.

Friday August 28: Across the Railroad Eureka, Glenbrook, period freight and 168, 425, Historic Consist, Price $475.00, capacity 45 people, Departs 8:00 AM, Arrive Chama 8:00 PM
The only chance to participate in an across the railroad run, this photo charter will provide many runby and photo opportunities with the 1875 locomotives on a period freight, and the 168 and 425 pulling the historic consist. Two trains for the price of one, and an opportunity to see the only time the visiting locomotives on the railroad between Osier and Cumbres, do not miss this opportunity! Lunch at Osier included. Sun sets at 7:36 PM

Saturday August 29: Cumbres Turn Eureka, Glenbrook, Historic Consist, Price $225.00, capacity 60 people, Departs 10:10 AM, Return 3:30 PM
A brace of original 1875 Baldwin locomotives running from Chama to Cumbres and return with runby opportunities, what is there not to like? Lunch included. Night photo session in Chama.

Saturday August 29: Dinner Train, Cumbres Turn 168, 425, Historic Consist, Price $300.00, capacity 60 people, Departs 5:30 PM, Return Chama 9:30 PM
C&TS’s world famous Cumbres Dinner Train pulled by authentic equipment with the historic passenger cars. This will be the only opportunity in 2020 to have this experience, do not miss it!

Sunday August 30: Night Train, Chama to Antonito 168, 425, Historic Consist, Price $350.00, capacity 60 people, Departs Chama 10:00 PM, Arrives Antonito 7:00 AM
In an event unparalleled in the history of the C&TS, ride the railroad from Chama to Antonito by lantern and moonlight aboard the authentic historic consist. Double headed with 425 to Cumbres, with opportunities to photograph at the “top of the world” do not miss this chance to see the railroad with an almost full moon illuminating the landscape. Arrive in Antonito as the sun rises for a never before offered experience. Includes Coffee and Continental Breakfast. Depending upon availability, tourist sleeper 470 may be used to offer the first overnight sleeper service on the narrow gauge in over 100 years.

All,
As of 6:20PM mountain standard time the only trip completely sold out is the August 28 trip from Antonito to Chama.
The Saturday night dinner train is almost sold out.
For days August 22 through 27 enter departing Antonito. for August 29 through 31 enter departing Chama.
