Stair Construction Car 0252/470 Continued
Posted: Sun Apr 10, 2016 10:18 pmThis is a continuation from the first posting on Stair Construction Car 0252/470.
- Finally the assembly starts with steps fitted to the rails and glued, the 5/16” threaded rods are inserted and washer with nut attached to each rod end; the toe boards are fitted, glued and slide into place. The final step is securing the nuts on the rods to tighten the assembly.

- Looking at the underside of the bottom step you see the two support rods traverse the lower step securing the step between the risers.

- From the side view you can see the support rods as they terminate to the outside of the riser. Note the rounded nose on each step.
