First Day - Work Session C

Much of the work focus today was at Antonito - completing the pairing of the steel trusses and erecting the first truss for the roof of the shelter. Ted Norcross' team made some good progress, as evidenced by the photos. Russ Hanscom spent the day in Antonito to complete the welding of the trusses. He will return to Chama on Tuesday to lead the team working on the restoration of Derrick OP.

Tomorrow, we'll post more photos of the work on-going in Chama, including RPO 054 restoration, installation of the HDTV camera system, maintenance of wheels, brakes and safety appliances, and derrick OP restoration work, among many other tasks, including the support functions.
