Posted: Mon Jan 09, 2012 7:31 pmWhen we went out on the line with a speeder once we had Ruben Pacheco as our pilot. He mentioned that he was born here when his dad was a track gang leader. They had to take the train to school and to go to the store. His brother Max was born in the log bunk house in Chama, over in the north yard.
