Do you suppose that Jim McGee in the first photo just kicked the ties to nudge the track straight? Nah, probably took more than just that I suppose.

More work today. These tracks are the new eastern most rail on the C&T. This pole barn area will hold appx 18 cars.

Thanks for the photos Joe. Is the spacing between the poles about 10 feet?

A lot of spikes being pounded today. A lot of different people helped. Everyone from board members to the average Friend's member.

The track nearest to the CRF building was elevated to a finished grade today. All of this work was done by hand and with jacks. Antonito now has a rail yard for historic cars. Soon it will have a roof to protect them.

Joe, The pictures of yours and Ted Smith show a great deal of track work completed in the first work session. Was all the jacking and leveling done by the friends? The second question, will the balance of track work be finished in the second work session ? Thanks again for your pictures and up dates. Fred L. Kuhns
