Great shot, Rich. 489 sure was purdy that year.

If I had known that photo shoot was going to be so neat, I would've changed my plans to be there. Michele and I spent that day going up to Alpine Tunnel for the first time. We spent that night at Crested Butte and arrived in Chama a few days later for the 40th Anniversary.

Thank you gentlemen!
Steve, If I recall you where there. Do you notice something missing from that photo?

I'll bet it's the same things missing from this photo: picnic tables, orange safety netting, and port-o-johns. PhotoShop is a wonderful thing.

Rich - Looks like you took down the electromagnetic wave transducer for the roof of the section house  . I'm sure the crews were glad you put it back after the night session.

LOL, you guys got it. The transducer thing and 3 port-a-johns.
