Bill, It great to see you and Tom working together ( No hand injuries ) . The 6214 was in need of tender loving care. It also great to see how clean the area around the CRF and the new walkway.

That's the problem. Too many cars need lots of TLC. 6214 will go back to the railroad, and get loaded with ties and be used sparingly for another 15 years. Then it will need another new deck and other repairs. There are maybe 6 cars in the 62xx class that will need the same during that time. Hopefully there will be another set of volunteers to do this. Hopefully they don't have to make the same mistakes again that we did.
