More work to remove the scale and rust from drop bottom gon 731

You work some at getting the rust off then have to clean up the mess you just made

The drop bottom gon is down to the bare frame

Now the fun work begins, rebuilding back to a functional car

Using the torch to cut out the old bolts

Work continues on the construction of the period passenger car trucks

Bringing some lumber into the conex storage

Getting it properly placed on the racks

Well at this point you really cannot tell what this is, though we know it will end up at box car 3476

The work is ongoing at the conversion of P-box 213 to box car 3476

Rebuild of the paint car 3686

Working continues on the end of paint car 3686

Attaching the roof walk boards on the paint car

Brackets are being attached to the small door which goes over the opening at the ends of the car

The end grab irons are kinda in place

Brad is priming one of the high sided gons in the yard

Car inspectors house at Cumbres Pass

The porch roof at the car inspectors house is coming right along

The crew gives a thumbs up having finished the pour for the fireplace base
