Here is Herb enjoying his work on the coal tipple. And yes, he has his safety harness on. Thanks, Herb.

Years ago Sharon McGee and Nan Clark climbed up to the sheave house (on top) when John Sutkus was replacing all of the side boards and took photos of the yard. It is because of those photos it was decided to put the two cameras you look at about 10' below where Herb Knoesel is now.

You can thank those ladies for giving us the idea. Pretty cool eh?

Yes a huge thank you to Sharon McGee and Nan Clark! Also a huge thank you to the railroad for allowing the cams, and the Friends team that installed and maintains them. While I know we all talk about from time to time where else cams could be, I don't think there is a better place than the coal tipple for overall views of the activities.

The last day or so of the work session we could clearly hear what sounded like dumping something, and on one video actually saw what looked like gravel then water on the South cam -- is the bucket working to where they were actually dumping it? Just curious as it was quite loud listening on the cams.

I really don't know if they used them but I was told the wire connecting them needed to be replaced.
