Some 1357 required bolts not on hand so they were made - here threading them - Lunch prep in the background!

More un-anticipated repairs on caboose 05635 including a new letter board

The pink picnic tables are relaced and being painted box car red and will be taken to the Depot.

When possible - historic wood is to be reused during restoration. 1357 had abut 10 useable pieces that are reinserted in the car.

Thanks for the photos Ed, hopefully the internet inside the CRF is working for you now. I am THRILLED you refer to that caboose as the BOB TULLY Caboose, I hope the plaque is still inside letting riders know what a wonderful job Bob Tully did for that railroad.

Thanks Bill glad to hear it is still there, ya coming out again this summer?

I see most of the scroll work is still on the end rails of the Tully caboose. I hated that foo-foo, but Bob thought it would add class to that fancy replica caboose so weld I did. I wouldn't be sad in the least if we got permission to remove it now.

John: Good idea and the "Friends" should change out that stock car number and make it #1 to reflect the CATS first non historic caboose. Also, a Flying "Cumbers & Toltec" would be nice too! JMHO!!!!
