Here are some pics of work at the Cumbres section house

The new drain pipe is carrying excess water from the spring safely away. All this used to just percolate into the soil on the south side of section house. Hard to believe there wasn't more damage to the section house from all this water.

Doug Fredrick is rebuilding one of the railroad 's speeders. Only cost for the railroad is parts. Looks like a corner of the woodshop is now the speeder shop.

Thanks again for the pics Joe. I continue to be amazed at the skills and craftsmanship of the folks working these projects, really amazing. This from one that might be able to cut a straight line on a board that's marked.

Taking pics and updating things here are the easy part. The Friends and railroad are lucky that Bob is doing all this work. After fixing the section house, next might be rebuilding the bunk house and depot.

If anyone's interested in off session work with Bob, contact the Friend’s Albuquerque office. Also, if anyone likes the work they're seeing, call the Friend’s Albuquerque office to donate.
