Earnie's Ridge Looking At Mud Tunnel

Unread postby Roger Hogan » Wed Oct 22, 2014 5:50 pm

My friend Steve Forney and I hiked down to Earnie's Ridge with my 500mm lens to shoot the train coming out of mud tunnel. We were still shooting the train on the other side of Phantom Curve when a plane came by and then turned and went over us pretty close.

That airplane was loud enough I could hear it over the shutter noise of your camera!

Great pictures guys. Awesome fall colors. I have never seen a C-130 fly that low , he must have been looking for his keys.

As usual great shots Roger! The C-130 is a nice bonus, I've only seen them low at airshows, they must have been practicing some low level flying, or aerial photography of the train!
