Our First test of the proposed Scenic Byway from Chama, New Mexico to Arboles, New Mexico. This follows the route of the D&RGW railroad. Our next test will be with a camera or cameras mounted higher on my Jeep. Steve Forney and I decided to start with Dulce, NM to Pagosa Junction, Colorado. We also are testing new ways to do titles and information text.

Very nice.

One of these years I'm going to make a time-lapse video of the drive from my house to Chama. But, even at a rate of one picture per minute, it would take 15 minutes to watch the video!

My math says you live pretty close to only take 15 minutes to get there. I thought u were in Texas.

Well, either your math or mine is wrong. I double checked mine.

What would be your frame rate (FPS)? Then we can extrapolate how long it takes you to reach Chama.

Ah, I see the miscommunication now. My playback would be one frame per second. Sorry about that. I knew what I meant, but that's not what I said. My apologies.

15 hours travel time
1 frame per minute = 60 frames per hour= 900 frames for the trip (roughly)
900 frames at one per second = 15 minutes for playback

Roger, your video camera will record at a rate of one frame per second. Try that on your front bumper.
