Great video Roger. I cannot get over the great condition of the roadbed now, and can remember one time we were dropping weed killer on the sagebrush on the ROW to help the R/R out because it would get on the railhead and act like grease. Now there isn't a weed to be found!

Frank Turner deserves a whole lot of the credit for the shape of the current track and roadbed.

In my opinion what Frank, John M. and the track crews accomplished is nothing short of a miracle. Keep in mind that three separate estimates to fundamentally upgrade the track and roadbed had been done over the years -- all came in around $17 million. Sticker shock meant no support for such an undertaking. So far Frank and crew have done the job for under $6 million -- now that's effective, smart management.
