Just talked to Roger

Roger took Barbra into St. Vincent Regional Medical Hospital in Santa Fe to take a biopsy of a spot they saw on her lungs and they had problems. Air got into Barbra's blood stream and it triggered a stroke, she spent 8 days in the ICU, and then was transferred to a step down from ICU, and today head for therapy for 14 to 21 days as the left side of her body was affected by the stroke. Roger says her mind is sharp and her speech is not affected, and she can sit in a chair, but she has only a little movement on her left leg so far. They both appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this trying time. (I hope I got all my facts straight.)

Thanks for the update, John. Really appreciate it.

The Hogans have been, and will be, in my prayers. As incredible a place as Chama is, those two make it even better.

Speaking as a nurse, an air embolism is always a possibility, though rare, when pushing medications into an IV line. My prayers are directed at Barbara and a speedy recovery in rehab.
