I had a ticket to ride (6/21/18)

Unread postby Dave Baxter » Thu Jun 28, 2018 5:32 am

I first rode the C&T about 10 years ago with a tour group. Joined the "Friends" soon thereafter.
On this ride, all the work of the "Friends" was wonderfully evident: Lots of industry in the Chama yard, newly painted/refurbished cars everywhere, brush clearing along the line, new/repainted mileposts, the depot at Osier, etc, etc......
"Bravo", "Good Job". and "Thanks" to all the friends and the hard work you do!
I had an opportunity to plug the "Friends" when someone in the car asked about all the activity in the Chama yard. The web address is conveniently listed in the brochure the Railroad passes out to passengers.
Thanks again for your contributions to a lovely day and a fun ride!

Thanks, Dave. Please consider coming out to Work Session some time. They're a LOT of fun and the people are top notch.
