Larry Gibson heads off on the bus to Antonito today - it's a quiet off-season day on the railroad, typical of this time of year. I'm told only 100 passengers total for both trains. Things will pick up soon for the fall season ahead.

This will pretty much end the adventure that began two weeks ago, may have a few shots on the way out tomorrow. Quite an amazing two weeks for sure, it's been fun to follow along.

As they say all good things eventually must come to an end so off for home Wednesday. We ( Larry Sullivan &I) hope our joint project gave everyone a window on the day to day operations of the railroad and opens the door of interest to those who haven't explored in person.

Many great memories and new friends were made over these days to be savored until next time, health and circumstance allowing.

I'm grateful to ALL RR employees who welcomed me into their midst over these 12 days. Also, special thanks to the various historical societies that participated in the Narrow Gauge Rendezvous giving additional enjoyment on this visit to OUR railroad.

Tommorrow I may leave the railroad but the railroad won't be leaving me!! Thanks for viewing the chronical of these 12 glorious days on C&TS RR!!

A most heart felt Thank You to the Larry's for the excellent coverage of Larry G.'s trip. I know, from recent experience, that today is bitter sweet as he heads over the pass for the last time this year.
