Rotary OY Pilot House windows

Back in 1996 or so, when the body on the OY was rebuilt and strengthened, the side windows on the pilot house had to be reduced in size. The new windows ended up being 2 pane windows. All of the side windows on the OY were 4 pane windows when owned by the D&RGW. I don't know how the OY is going to be lettered for the plowing event next spring, but it would not make sense to letter the rotary for the D&RGW if the windows remained 2 pane. It is not possible to resize these windows back to their original size, but I would think that it would be a relatively small project for the Friends to convert these windows to 4 pane.
